Victoria Beckham makes a rare comment about 'protecting' her kids in first TV interview since family feud fallout
Victoria Beckham has made a rare comment about her "challenging year" navigating her feud with her eldest son, BrooklynThe 52-year-old made an appearance on the Today Show in the US, speaking candidly about the close bond she shares with her family.When asked about her tough year, the fashion mogul explained she and husband David Beckham put their children first.Watch the video above."We always put our children first. We love our children so much and we've always really focused on protecting our children," she said.The TV appearance was her first since Brooklyn's blistering social media takedown in January. We support each other through everything that we do," she continued.But it is her and David's 30-year marriage that has grounded her the most."Myself and David, we're so close," she said."[David and I] really have grown together, we support each other. We've both got big dreams. We're both very, very ambitious and support each other. I want him to be the best version of himself and that's what he wants for me."This new interview comes just days after the Beckham matriarch first acknowledged the family scandal publicly.On April 17, the entrepreneur told The Wall Street Journal, "I think that we've always – we love our children so much,"We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be.
