Tomb Raider reboot production halted after Sophie Turner injured on set
Production on the Tomb Raider reboot has been halted, after Sophie Turned suffered an injury on set. The 30-year-old actress reportedly suffered a "minor injury" on the action set according to multiple media outlets and production was stopped while she recovers. A source told the US Sun that the Game of Thrones star had a pre-existing back injury that progressed due to long hours on set, after filming for the series started in January. In January she opened up about her "perpetual back problem" which she learned about during her months-long training routine last year. "We've been doing eight hours a day, five days a week, since February last year of training, so it's been a lot," she said on The Julia Cunningham Show. When talking about the gruelling training she said "it's much easier to kind of build muscle if you've ever worked out before in your life.""Which I never had," she admitted. "So it has taken me months and months and months to get into good shape.
