Reality star reveals horror health battle as he's hospitalised with viral meningitis and encephalitis: 'Battered and bruised'

The Only Way Is Essex star Jordan Brook has revealed he's been hospitalised amid a battle with viral meningitis and encephalitis.Brook, 31, who is dating Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, 36, shared an update with his fans on the weekend saying he feels like he's "reached a plateau in hospital" and is "really fighting a mental battle at the moment".Viral meningitis often causes inflammation or swelling of the brain and spinal cord linings, while encephalitis is inflammation of the brain.Watch the videos above."Hospital update. Sadly after turning a bit of a corner on Friday I feel I have reached a plateau in hospital," Brook wrote in his post."Canulas are failing to stick I have had over 30 fitted. My body feels battered and bruised and is struggling to accept my anti-viral medication.
