Prague Invites Rizalian Knights Around the World

May 18, 2025, Prague, Czech Republic - The Knights of Rizal of the Czech Republic and their Sponsors are now preparing to host their upcoming European Regional Assembly on October 3,4, and 5 in Dou Hotel in Prague, bringing together Brother Knights and Guests. With them are high-ranking members from across the region and around the world to reaffirm the organization’s commitment and legacy to patriotism, civic duty, and national pride.
Knights of Rizal is the only knighthood and civic organization officially recognized by the Philippine government through Republic Act No. 646 (1951).
The Regional assembly will feature key discussions on current initiatives of Rizalian Ideals in modern Europe, in inspiring leadership, unity, and service. Distinguished speakers and leaders within the Order are expected to address the assembly on topics related to nation-building, youth development, and Rizalian values in the modern world.
“This Assembly is a gathering that is more than tradition,” said Sir Noubikko Ulanday, a Grand Knight Officer (KGOR), and Area Commander for the Czech Republic. “It’s a call to action of Rizalian spirit through leadership, education, and service", he added.
Sir Dante Ulanday, another Grand Knight Officer (KGOR), and Regional Commander for Western USA, had quickly responded to the invitation and said the states of Nevada, Arizona, California, and Hawaii have already expressed their interest in attending the Assembly.
Successful businesses with an interest in the Philippine market, and those from the Philippines with an interest in doing business in the Czech Republic, are invited to seal their support for the oldest Filipino organization in the Czech Republic. Knights of Rizal have existed since 2006, when there were only 36 Filipinos living in the country, and back then, no Filipinos living in the city of Litomerice. Today, there are about 8,000 Filipinos in the Czech Republic.
Knights of Rizal have been tested by time. They have been an organization even before the Czech Republic became a member of the European Union. This number of years is enough time to measure, unmoved by any pitch, said Sir Stepan Klockocha, (KGOR) Grand Knight Commander of Prague.
