The project, a comprehensive development program anchored on international cooperation, is being pursued in partnership with a global consortium of investors and experts from Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Germany, and Spain. The initiative is expected to create modern facilities, sustainable infrastructure, and world-class amenities that will attract both domestic and international conferences, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges.
“The Legacy Project is more than just tourism development,” Mayor Bayron emphasized. “It is about preparing Puerto Princesa to become a global destination for business, culture, and international collaboration. This is a milestone not just for the city but for the entire Philippines.”
As part of the global rollout, the initial presentation of the Legacy Project will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on October 2,3, and 4 at the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The high-level event will be attended by government officials, business leaders, and representatives from participating countries. The Philippine delegation will include senior officials, with the presence of the Philippine Ambassador to Prague and the Czech Minister of Trade and Industry expected to formally attend the program.
