Nicola's pointed message amid feud with the Beckhams
Nicola Peltz has shared a pointed tribute to her mum amid a rift between her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, and the rest of the Beckham family.Peltz took to Instagram to post about her "devoted" mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, posting photos of her with her mother accompanied by a sweet caption."I love you mom, so so much," the post starts."I don't know what I would do in life without your love."Thank you for being you, the most beautiful human inside and out, there is truly no one like you."Claudia, a former model, married billionaire Nelson Peltz in 1985. The pair have eight children, including Nicola, 31, Matthew, 37, Will, 35, Brad, 32, Brittany, 28, Diesel, 30, and twins Zachary and Gregory, 21.Nelson also has two other children from his first marriage. The pair have been spending more time with the Peltz family since the rift between the Beckhams.Brooklyn spent Christmas with his in-laws, posting about the holiday to Instagram.Nicola's most recent post comes as she and her husband face an escalation in their feud with David and Victoria Beckham. The feud has seen the pair snub all family celebrations in the last year, including David Beckham's 50th birthday and Victoria's Fashion Week show. The family, including Brooklyn's siblings, were also not invited to the couple's vow renewal ceremony in August last year.It is alleged the couple previously served both David and Victoria with a "cease and desist" notice – and that a breach of said notice was the driving force behind Brooklyn blocking his parents on social media last month.According to anonymous sources cited by The Daily Mail, Victoria and David were instructed to contact Brooklyn and Nicola through their lawyers exclusively."David was told to speak to them via Schillings (Brooklyn's lawyers). That was the only way for them to communicate," the source claimed. The desist letter in question was said to contain explicit instructions surrounding social media activity, including orders to refrain from tagging or mentioning Brooklyn in posts. But David and Victoria appeared undeterred by this notice, continuing to engage with Brooklyn's social media content and post various images that included him prior to being blocked.According to The Sun, it was "weeks of frustration" that led to the social media ice-out, after believing their requests for a private, rather than public, reconciliation with their estranged family were ignored.FOLLOW US ON WHATSAPP HERE: Stay across all the latest in celebrity, lifestyle and opinion via our WhatsApp channel.
