Jenny McCarthy opens up about year of 'living hell' as she reveals mystery health battle
Jenny McCarthy has shared her year of "living hell", having gone through nine surgeries in a year to figure out what the mystery illness was that was taking over her life.The 53-year-old opened up about her health journey on the Heal Squad podcast, hosted by Maria Menounos.The actress shared that her health issues kick-started a year ago with an infected root canal, which she first got cleaned and later removed. However, because it wasn't cleaned properly, she suffered from a jawbone infection due to "three of these little toxic pools hiding underneath my wisdom teeth."Watch the video above. You're the healthiest patient I have. We gotta go dig deeper,'" she recalled on the podcast.The doctor called her back urgently when the results came in."The reason why you're having constant infections, your body won't heal, you're oozing things is because you have mould. You have mycotoxin poisoning," she recalled the doctor telling her.The Masked Singer judge explained, "Mould releases this toxin in the dust particles and what happens is most people … with good immune systems can handle it.
