David Beckham's former assistant Rebecca Loos weighs into Brooklyn drama: 'Truth always comes out'
Rebecca Loos is the latest person to weigh in on the current drama surrounding the Beckham family. The 48-year-old former assistant, who claimed to have once had an affair with David Beckham has reportedly spoken out about his family's feud with son Brooklyn.People is reporting that Loos weighed in on the drama in a comment on her Instagram account in which she said "the truth always comes out".The former model has come out in support of Beckham's son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, despite having no direct contact with the Beckhams for two decades and likely never meeting their children.Loos was responding to a follower, who wrote on her Instagram page, "Rebecca, you gotta see the awesome ditch Brooklyn just posted in his story about David and Victoria and their lies. I feel like Brooklyn is supporting everyone who knows the facade"."I know you are wonderful and happy and don't need validation but I think you will feel a source of extra validation. Especially the end about the dogs."Loos replied, "So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!" READ MORE: Why Beckham feud is like nothing we have seen beforeREAD MORE: The truth about Beckham-Peltz wedding danceREAD MORE: Enrique Iglesias shares rare glimpse of dad lifeShe also responded to another commenter who wrote, "Fascinating admission from Brooklyn", writing, "The truth always comes out."Several publications have included screenshots of the exchange, which is no longer visible on her Instagram.Loos was a personal assistant to Beckham when he was playing for Real Madrid in 2003 and alleged in an interview the following year that she and the soccer star had a four-month affair – something Beckham denied.The allegations resurfaced in the 2023 docuseries Beckham but he fell short of making either an admission or denial, something that angered Loos, who said he shouldn't have rehashed the drama.Loos' comments came less than a day after Brooklyn Beckham let loose with a scathing post on his Instagram Story in which he detailed a litany of grievances about his parents and said he had no desire to reconcile with them.The scathing six-page post on his Instagram Story was akin to dropping an atomic bomb on his family's carefully curated image, and gave a blow-by-blow account of the fallout.Among his grievances; that his parents had been "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding and it hasn't stopped".The biggest salvos were directed at his mother, who he said "cancelled making Nicola's [wedding] dress at the eleventh hour", and hijacked the first dance meant for the bride and groom."She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone," he wrote, adding, "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life".He also accused his parents and their 'team' of continually going to the press, leaving him with "no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed".He also said his parents had "controlled narratives in the press about our family" for "my entire life"."The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into", he wrote, before adding "Brand Beckham comes first"."I do not want to reconcile with my family," he wrote.For a daily dose of 9honey, subscribe to our newsletter here.
