Reality star Dolly Martinez, who appeared on the show My 600-Lb Life, has died at age 30. Days before her death, her sister Lindsey Cooper revealed Martinez was in hospital, but no further details were shared at the time.Now an official cause of death has been released – according to her mother Staci Thurman, the reality star died from congestive heart failure, TMZ reports.Martinez was hospitalised on March 29 with fluid in her heart and lungs.She had reportedly been dealing with ongoing health issues before this.According to TMZ she was put in a medically-induced coma and on a ventilator, but sadly never recovered. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will stay with us forever."While our hearts are broken here, I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with our dad in heaven. I can only imagine the joy of that reunion. ?️"Rest peacefully, Dolly. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never forgotten. ❤️"In this time of grieving please reach out to me or my wife instead of Staci as she needs peace and privacy." The post has been flooded with messages of condolence and support for the family during this difficult time. "My biggest condolences to your family and everyone involved, she was truly an amazing woman and being her friend was a gift. Love, hugs, and prayers to all!!" read one comment. Another person wrote, "My deepest sympathies, she was very nice to me when we talked." Martinez appeared on Season 10 of the TLC reality show, My 600-Lb Life, which premiered in 2021. She was 25 years old at the time. During the series, she weighed just under 600lbs and candidly opened up about her struggles with mental health and food addiction. "The only thing powerful enough to distract me from darker thoughts is food. Food is my go-to drug that takes my pain away," Martinez shared on the series. "Food is more than just a pleasure.
