A CNN reporter in Brazil was robbed at knifepoint during her protection of heavy rain at a bridge in Sao Paulo on Saturday.

The footage, uploaded this week, confirmed Bruna Macedo stepping back as a man approached her. In response to the report, a person pulled out a knife.

Macedo then handed the person two cell phones.

CNN Brazil then reduce the stay feed after the incident.

CNN presenter Rafael Colombo stated after the incident: “It was unimaginable to know on the time what was occurring, if it was a homeless individual passing by. However after what happened, we minimize the image.”

“He threatened and she or he handed over a cellphone, however he knew she had two, as a result of she has a personal and a corporate one,” Colombo stated.

He stated Macedo “had a terrible scare” through the ordeal. She didn’t endure any injures.

In line with CNN, the network launched its Brazil workplace in March 2020.
