Actress Spencer Grammer Slashed Outside Manhattan Restaurant

NEW YORK—Actress Spencer Grammer says she was making an attempt to calm an agitated man when he slashed her within the arm and stabbed her pal within the again Friday outdoors a New York Metropolis restaurant.

Grammer, 36, advised US Weekly that she and her pal “did what anybody else would do in the same state of affairs” and have been “trying to stop the altercation from escalating” once they have been attacked.

Grammer and her 32-year-old pal have been consuming at an outdoor desk at The Black Ant in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood round 11:30 p.m. Friday when the man ambled up and demanded to be served as the restaurant was closing down.

Grammer and her pal have been harm as they “tried to interrupt up a dispute between the unidentified male and other patrons at the location,” police stated.

The person ran away after wounding Grammer in the fitting arm and her pal within the lower again with an unknown sharp object, police stated. No arrests have been made.

Grammer, who supplies the voice of Summer time on “Rick and Morty” and previously starred on the ABC Household collection “Greek,” is the daughter of “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer and actress Doreen Alderman.

Grammer stated she and her good friend each anticipate to get well shortly. Neither suffered critical inner accidents, she stated.

In her assertion to US Weekly, Grammer thanked the first responders and Bellevue Hospital employees that treated them and noted the “unimaginable battle” those staff have fought towards the coronavirus pandemic.

“It was very shifting for us to have the chance to thank them in individual,” Grammer stated.
